Too few lights

Reported via mobile in the Street Light category anonymously at 09:40, Friday 30 April 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This street is incredibly poorly lit by night. The street lamps are only on one side of the road. The LED replacement lights are not fit for the purpose intended, they barely illuminate a small patch of pavement directly below them and not suitable to illuminate the road or pavement on the other side of the road where we don’t have any street lamps at all. We really need more street lamps both sides of the street and lower down to make the brightness reach the floor with better intensity, this street does not feel safe to walk down in the evenings at all.
