Just to say I second this poster's concerns! The road surface here is a minefield of potholes and it's genuinely dangerous to cyclists and scooter users who are obliged to weave around them or have a nasty accident.

Following up again here as still waiting on any action to be taken. The entire roundabout is an accident waiting to happen for a cyclist and this is a busy main route into town. The road urgently needs resurfacing or someone is going to be seriously hurt with the council likely be liable given how long it has been like this. This report was made in May but it has been dangerous for at least 6 months if not longer now.

Approaching roundabout from North Street: there is a pothole at the entrance to the roundabout next to a manhole that is about 50cm deep, 50cm wide and 70cm long. It is large enough to accommodate a car tyre, so would easily trap a cycle tyre or e-scooter wheel, sending the rider flying into traffic.

The entire roundabout area desperately needs resurfacing. Patchwork pothole filling will not work and has in part let to the state of the road as it is now, as the area around the repairs then starts to crumble. Please action this for resurfacing - it is a main road junction which 100s of cyclists travel through each day.
