Parking on pavements

Reported via desktop anonymously at 08:12, Sun 9 May 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Everyone seems to be parking on pavements these days, why should the public risk there lives walking in the road.Would love parking permits to be broght into force. There are more business vehicles such as vans being brought home and parked, but not outside there own property,no lets park on the pavement

  • Absolutely agree. The local council & police turn a blind eye to it, which results in motorists doing it and getting away with it.

Report it to the council Parking enforcement (0117 903 8070) if it’s on or next to double yellows and/or a dropped kerb.

For pavement parking call the police (101) and tell them it’s “causing a dangerous obstruction to pedestrians”. Also, ask for a crime reference number so there is a definite record of it.
