Slabs uprooted by tree
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:20, Thursday 13 May 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
There is a street tree outside 278, the roots have come through the pavement and moved the slabs causing a trip hazard
A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

I reported this a couple of years ago which was supposed to be repaired. I think the "repair" made the pavement a whole lot worse and its not just outside our house (268) it is all the way up Two Mile Hill Road.
Both my husband and I use mobility scooters and I almost came off mine last week. We now have to cross a very busy main road to get across to the other side where the pavement is marginally better.
I would also like to ask what has happened to the traffic wardens in Kingswood Bristol/St George?
Besides the above problem we have cars parking across our driveway which has double yellow lines across the dropped pavement and also a polite sign asking for the driveway to be kept clear. When we go shopping in Kingswood we then have negotiate getting past the cars parking on the pavement, There is one takeaway which is a particular problem, The Golden Kebab often has two or three cars on the pavement and I have had to go onto the road or get off my scooter to get them to move them when they then treat me as if I am a problem.
Could you please look into these issues as a matter of urgency as my husband has been shielded for over a year and is now afraid to go out because of these problems.
