Foot wide pothole worn down past tarmac to baselayer.

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

About 1 foot square pothole has worn through down to the base layer and is at least 3 inches deep, you can hear it when cars go over it as it is in a dual carriageway.

  • I hit this pothole yesterday while changing lanes, the impact made me temporarily lose control of the vehicle and has severely damaged my o/s front wheel. It was extremely alarming and could have caused a very serious accident.

    I would like raise a claim for the cost of the damage to my vehicle due to negligence. According to local residents, the road has been in a ruinous state fore months.

  • This pothole needs to be fixed. Hitting it at 40mph with no option to avoid it creates huge impact on wheels. I hit it - not inspected my car yet
