Damaged Pavement due to Lorrys driving over outside 46 Westleigh Park

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 09:55, Sun 23 May 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council 35 minutes later

Hi, I reported a damage pavement to and the council repaired by adding a layer of tarmac in March. However, I explained that lorry's use it as a layby to allow traffic past as the road can be narrow at times if cars park on the other side of the road. The workers who repaired the pavement said that they had booked in a works order for the pavement to be dug out and concreted as otherwise this will keep being a repeat issue, as I am now reporting again as my driveway is again unusable due to the damaged pavement.

  • Well I noticed in July, spoke to the owners of n.46 where the hole was dug up by B.c c, and has been left right up to the end of August. I reported this to Councillor Tim Kent, he went and saw for himself. It's now 30th September and still not been finished. I thought Council were hot on health and safety. I will be reporting this to Councillor Kent, now knowing it was fone in May, its been four months, just waiting for an accident waiting to happen if something isn't done within the next few day's.
