Overflowing drains on both sides of road

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category by Richard Baker at 21:40, Tue 25 May 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This often occurs with anything more than light rain. It is happening with drains on both sides of the road (I notice neighbours opposite have reported their side). Once rain settles there are muddy deposits. This is at the fair (higher numbered) end of Queen Victoria Road

  • Just to report that the problem with the drain and road flooding at Queen Victoria Road is ongoing. Following Monday evening’s heavy rain (04 October 2021), the road at the eastern end of the cul-de-sac was flooded again, this time to a greater extent than I’ve seen before (I’ve been living here for just over a year). From what I could see the water was threatening to reach the houses opposite.

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures as it was after dusk.
