When heavy rain the gulley overflows and eventually seeps away

Recently there was a lot of work replacing electrical cables in the street. It appears a lot of sand, stone and other building materials have run into the drain blocking it. This was reported yesterday but the receptionist said it was the responsibility of Wessex Water. They came within 2 hours and confirmed the responsibility of BCC. A number of drains in Paddock Garden require a 'gulley sucker' and some power washing. This has been an issue since the recent heavy rains over the last 2 weeks'
