Deep hole present on Broad Quay outside Roots Floral Shop

Reported via desktop in the Utlility Covers category anonymously at 13:10, Fri 4 June 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Hello

I have recieved a report that a manhole/utility cover has been removed from a location on Broad Quay outside Roots Floral Shop (and near to the junction with Baldwin Street).

It has been suggested that the hole is possibly up to 1 metres deep and there is concern that this is a dangerous health and safety hazard.

A colleague has put out cones around the hole however this needs to be repaired as a matter of urgency.
