Grass growing
Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 16:44, Wed 9 June 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
The gully is full of compacted earth and grass is growing there, this effectively prevents drainage and will cause flooding. I have tried to clear the bit around the drain itself but it really needs a professional! I think that the fact that cars have started parking on the Downs opposite has resulted in the verge wearing away leaving exposed earth that drifts over the road. The tarmac on both sides is deteriorating - in one place so badly that I tripped and twisted my ankle when I fell.
