Pavement remains obstruction with no alternative route for pedestrians. A few years ago when there was a dangerous building on the same site there was a safe pedestrian route put in the road. How much longer will the pavement be blocked?

When I enquired with the site manager he told me that the council had given permission for the complete closure of the pavement and it will not be reopened until next April 2022 at the earliest, which means going through the dark winter months negotiating around the hoarding , can Bristol City Council please confirm this .
