Kerb stone raised at one end, severe trip hazard.

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 15:41, Thu 17 June 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2799052.

A kerb stone has sunk one end, raised the other, creating a severe trip hazard for those on foot along Court Farm Road. Crossed the road from Canford Court car park, tripped on the raised kerbstone, fell and broke two crowns of my front teeth. I was told by Post Office workers who witnessed my fall, that they have been tripping on this hazard for some time.

  • So here we are, 10 and a half months after the original report, and the kerb is far more broken than before - clearly no attempt has been made to re-bed the kerb stones, and the pavement is breaking away.
