Broken glass in the road

Reported via desktop in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 03:03, Monday 21 June 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There is broken glass in the road outside the flats no 2 on Sandhill Road. This is a regular occurrence from the men drinking outside on the pathway. I have had a flat tyre from this.

  • There is a large amount of broken glass on the road surface. I have previously gone out with a dustpan and brush however this is not acceptable.

This is the third week in a row this has been the case. I have had to replace a tyre due to glass being stuck.

Not acceptable and not helpful having no pavement rather than dropped glass directly into the road surface.

  • There is still a large amount of broken glass on the road outside of the flats where the old toilet block used to be. This has not been cleared for two weeks.
