Missing paving slab

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 11:45, Wed 23 June 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Missing paving slab. I sprained my ankle really badly as I fell in the dip in the pavement. This needs to be resolved asap, trip hazard, I'm lucky I didn't break my ankle. This is a beauty spot, lots of people pass by so please fix asap to avoid more accidents.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

  • We have reported by telephone today 2.10.21 that there is an entire slab missing at or around 3 Sion Hill. Clearly this had not been fixed. The spot is adjacent to a bench. My wife had a bad fall as a result yesterday and needed treatment, anaesthetic and stitches for a deep knee gash yesterday - 1.10.21. A couple of photos are attached. It requires urgent infill of sand or preferably a new slab before someone else suffers a fall or worse. The risk is compounded as pedestrians might well be looking at the Bridge and local architecture.
