Hedge overhanging more than half of pavement width

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 13:23, Wed 23 June 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

No 29 Fremantle Road is a corner house with frontages on Fremantle Road and Cotham Side. Both frontages are planted with a very tall hedge that overhangs the narrow pavements by 50% and impedes pedestrians. The same problem has occurred for many years and was reported to BCC last year, after which a modest clipping was done. But not enough was removed from the hedges and they have now grown to cause a problem just as bad as before. Where the Fremantle Rd part of the hedge meets that of No 31, a wooden pallet is falling out of the hedge and dragging it farther over the pavement. These hedges MUST be pruned back to the boundary line of the walls.
