    Last night and this morning we have been out in the rain sweeping water into the opposite gully to prevent our houses flooding at 11,12 and 13 Brockhurst Road bs15 1bt. We are in a desperate situation here. We are all pensioners!

    This was the result of a short, sharp shower last night. By getting thoroughly my neighbour and I managed to prevent (just!) the water running into our houses. If the storm had been longer than the 15 mins it was we would have lost the battle and many pieces of furniture on the ground floor of our houses. Please get a team of engineers here before the winter storms do flood our houses.
