We moved our relative into a rental house in Byron Place BS8 1JT and noticed it was very difficult to negotiate getting into the road bearing in mind it is very narrow and one has to negotiate the tree branch. I noticed even a small car having difficulty but there are frequently small vans entering this area. My other concern is if these trees have not been managed for several years there is no knowing the damage the tree roots are doing to the buildings opposite as trees need regular maintenance. Also the park opposite is in great need of work doing on it but I don't know if there is a maintenance company/ management company but clearly it needs attention as the trees could be causing (in addition to the obvious obstruction to the road ) damage to drainage systems etc due to the root system. The park has become a dumping ground too. I know that when I had a property with many trees in my garden I had regular visits from the tree surgeons and certainly our council required us to cut the over hanging branches regularly but as I say I don't know who owns the park opposite but certainly if I were a property owner in Byron place I would certainly be concerned about the state of the trees - I would say the trees have not been deal with for several years and in fact at the top end of Byron place one of the saplings has re planted itself in the stone work of the house opposite just as you enter.
