Rusted through signpost in lane which is used by school children 4 times a day. On discovering it was rusted through and dangerous it was laid down and reported to you Friday morning by phone. I explained the danger considering the number of children using the lane and expected it to be removed quickly. It is now Sunday 18 July and it is still there although moved from where we put it. he

The danger this could cause to anyone using the lane especially at night is negligence. Although it is a 'no cycling' unfortunately people ignore that so perhaps a cyclist could have an accident in the dark.
