Pay at machine arrow pointing to a very far machine
Reported via desktop in the Road Signage category anonymously at 01:31, Wed 21 July 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
The on-street pay and display sign just outside Lisa Elliott Floral Design has shown an arrow pointing directions to users towards a very far ticket machine at the end of Waterloo Street where it meets Portland Street because there is no ticket machine on Waterloo Street. However, the nearest ticket machine can be accessed just behind at the corner of Prince Victoria Street. This sign could cause confusion to unfamiliar motorists who wish to park on Waterloo Street but need to go to purchase a ticket on Portland Road and walk all the way back to display it on the car when they could just turn around and use a very close one at the corner of Prince Victoria Street.
