Illegally parked cars on double yellow lines

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Impossible to walk on pavement due to illegally parked cars on double yellow lines, inning south liberty lane. Traffic from Long Ashton Bypass including HGVs thunder along road, pedestrians have to walk on road as they cannot access the pavements.

  • No change whatsoever to illegal parking. Parking continues to be a danger as pedestrians having to walk in the road, other vehicle users find it difficult to pass etc.

  • Confines to be a real jazzers particularly around Trojan Gym- cars parked on both sides of the street and on the pavements.

  • Illegally parked cars still causing havoc to vehicles using South Liberty Lane particularly the number 24a bus. Pedestrians cannot walk safely on either side of the road due to: 1. Illegally parked cars on double yellow lines in one side of the pavement 2. Cars parked on the other pavement- part on road/part on pavement 3. Bushes and shrubs, rubbish, weeds etc. along the pavements This is a huge danger. Repeatedly reported.

  • Again, continues to be a logistical danger area whether travelling on foot or by vehicle. Particularly around Trojan Gym area including weekends, with cars parked illegally on double yellow lines and physically on the pavement on both sides of South Liberty.
