Overgrown hedge obstructing pathway

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 12:03, Mon 26 July 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The hedge on the corner of St Laud Close and Druid Stoke Avenue is significantly overgrown and obstructing almost the entire width of the pavement. It is sharp and at the eye height of a child. This is a route commonly used by members of the public taking their children to school during term time and represents a significant risk. It would be a hazard to someone of limited sight. It has been this way for several months and steadily gotten worse since this growing season began.

  • This is still as issue. The thorns are at head height for children and it is only a matter of time before there is a serious eye injury.
