Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 14:55, Tue 27 July 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The overgrowth obscures view of cars coming round corner and as Robert street is narrow and regularly parked on on both sides, presents a real risk to cyclists and cars coming in the opposite direction. needs heavy pruning or removal.

  • Bushes completely obstruct the footpath causing a safety problem for pedestrians. The overgrowth continues into the road obstructing the view of drivers, cyclists and pedestrians as the approach from Barrow Road. Seen several near misses and it's only a matter of time before there is a serious accident. Please act before someone is hurt, or worse.

  • From the original complaintant.

Having looked more closely at the Buddlia, it does grow on the pavement side of the barrier to the car park so I presume it is a matter for the council to address not the owner of the car park. It still hasn't been addressed, is hugely overgrown and presents a real hazard to road users (especially cyclists) coming round that corner, as other people not also attest.

Please can it be dealt with immediately please.
