Blocked drains flooding corner road crossing

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 09:24, Wed 28 July 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There are two drains on this corner of Milner and Selborne Roads. Both appear to be struggling to cope in recent months, flooding a corner used as a crossing point for pedestrians, including small children and pushchairs.

  • I think the contractors came to address this last week. Judging by today's heavy rain, it looks like one of the two drains has been cleared (the one on Selborne Road) but not the other (on Milner Road) on the same corner. Hence water is still pooling on the corner and the pavement.
