This pothole ruined two of my tyres back in january 2020 costing me £320too which i started a complaint through the council to be fobbed off and told no negligence was imminent although it had been reported two weeks prior to my car getting damaged now a year later its back after their unsatisfactory repair has all fallen out causing another tyre but on my wifes car this is absolutely unacceptable and is 100 percent negligence to the public and taxpayer

  • There remains a very large pothole on Lower High Street, Shirehampton immediately after the Old Barrow Hill junction - as you head downhill. I believe it to be the same defect that has been reported previously by MANY people.

My car glanced over the pothole late Sunday evening causing an immediate puncture. No mobile tyre company could source an appropriate replacement tyre until well into the afternoon the next day.

Not only has a days work cost me by not having transport but I have the cost of new tyre to contend with.

    Why hasn't this been fixed?
