Five blocked drains at junction of Southey Street and Ashley Grove Road

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 18:43, Thu 5 August 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Hi There are five gulleys at this junction’s location (three in Southey Street and two in Ashley Grove Road) and they are all blocked so that the pavement and road floods. In the heavy rain of 2 August 2021 the flood reached the threshold of the house. This is of particular concern as if it rains harder the house could flood! Obviously the pavement and a large portion of the road were impassable. The fact that there are so many drains at this particular point shows the level of the problem at this location. This is an urgent problem as a house is at risk of avoidable flooding until the drains are cleared. Many thanks.
