Flooding 1-33a East Street, BS3 4HH. Water has been coming up through the ground floor drains of several of these properties during the recent heavy rains. This is not an individual property problem. Please investigate mains drainage in this area. This problem has happened several times in recent years. I have heard the Malago blamed, blocked sluice gates into the river blamed, bulders waste in drains, etc. This problem has not been resolved. Meanwhile our businesses are being affected. I've tried to speak to Highways this morning but got cut off after 30 minutes of waiting on the telephone. I own 6 properties in this location and I speak for myself and neighbours.
