16 inches of gushing water rose above the pavement from 2 BLOCKED drains washing all of the drain debris up to my front door. The volume of water was so great that it partially destroyed the wooden fence on the pavement. My property is at least 4 feet lower than the pavement taking the total height of floodwaters8 inches above the threshold of the front door entrance. I couldn’t open the door to take photos because of the force and volume of filthy water made it impossible. The drains have been blocked for 15 YEARS and the flooding is very concerning.

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2953539.
Hard rain causes the 2 drains in the road to flood my property because it is 4 feet below street level. Secondly, the road is covered with grit, stones, sand, rubbish and anything else that is blocking the drains that have not been cleared for 15 years despite requests being sent.
