  • This depression is getting worse - it was first brought to your attention months ago. Nothing has been done to correct it. Vehicles literally bounce over it - you have to approach it slowly. There are numerous marks where vehicles have bottomed out - this is outbound on the A37 section. Because of it’s position on the carriageway you can’t drive round it, you can’t avoid it. I hadn’t driven it for a couple of months, but did so last week and it is definitely a serious issue. How the emergency vehicles manage to drive over it I don’t know.

  • I noticed while walking this section of Bath Road today that there are also large cracks in the road surface at both ends of the railway bridge, suggesting structural issues. I support the other users' assertion that the depression in the road is getting worse. I think this should be investigated as a priority as it could become a sinkhole.
