Large pothole in pedestrian footway access to Tesco shop.

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:43, Sunday 29 August 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The pothole is in the middle of the path, near to a trolley store, close to the entrance to the Tesco Extra. This makes makes access difficult, especially for vulnerable people restricted in their mobility. My mother is aged 89 and is dependant on using a wheeled walking aid. When she visited the site recently one of the wheels on the walker caught in the pothole causing her to stumble and bruise her ankle. She had to walk home afterwards, adding to the discomfort. When I spoke with the Tesco Duty Manager she was aware of the problem but referred me on to you as the responsible authority. I am disappointed that a known problem had not been reported before it caused injury.
