Bus stop in the wrong place

Reported via desktop in the Bus stops category anonymously at 01:22, Mon 30 August 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Bus stop in the wrong place needs to be moved down back down dorian road away from the leisure centre and away from the junction with bishopthorpe road, this bus stop often causes congestion, and will cause an accident in the future as cars have to go on the other side of the road to get past

  • I agree , total chaos . who in their right mind would situate a bus stop opposite a T junction from the main estate road and on a A&E route and feeding to a main arterial road - ??? BCC strikes again

  • And need to close Horfield leisure sports centre car park EXIT as it is to close to Dorian Road traffic lights .(i dont give way to them ) And put it down Dorian Rd with the IN Entrance plenty of road width space to do it.

  • Other bus stop is also in a wrong place and causes traffic off the main road to back up

  • BAD PLANNING AS USUAL No need for buses to run up and down Dorian Rd at all. Because on Dorian Rd there is only 2 bus stops and both at top start to Dorian the up and down. When just around corner on Filton Rd A38 there is 2 stops that can be used. And buses could go via Monks Park Hospital Entrance as all the rest of buses do and southmead Rd that serve the Hospital.
