Collapsed manhole cover

A manhole cover in this council adopted lane has collapsed inwards and has caused damage to vehicles trying to avoid the dip. Dip can cause a bumpy ride for vulnerable people who may use the car and could be a serious trip hazard particularly during darker hours.

Manhole is sunken down, it is going further each time it is driven over, it is about 2 inches lower now. Could cause accident to pedestrians or drivers who use this council maintained.
