Parking on pavement

Reported via mobile anonymously at 07:42, Thu 2 September 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Motorbike parked fully on pavement causing danger to blind pedestrians and pedestrians with buggies. Saturday 21 /8/2021. This was a Poice Motorbike with driver operating Speed camera. This is also dangerous to drivers as they pay attention to what speed they are doing instead of observing the road ahead.

  • Police vehicles are permitted to be parked on the pavement where necessary for operational reasons.

Police are responsible for enforcing pavement parking (not the Council).

The presence of police monitoring speed obviously improves road safety not hinders it.

No action needed from Bristol City Council on this matter.

    State changed to: Fixed
