Cutting down hedgerow

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
I understand this land has recently been approved for development, however September and October (i know this might sound trivial) - is Baby Hedgehog season, and either the council or this development, have just started churning up with a heavy duty flail mower all the hedgerow that has been growing there for 5 years and that they currently live in. Only started chopping it back last week, and they've cut back 20%, looks like the intention is to chop through all of it, and I request its stopped or delayed please. (Ideally stopped - dont see anyone planting new trees or hedgerows, only chopping them down)
