Bright street light outside 11 Burghley Road

Reported via desktop in the Street Light category anonymously at 18:50, Wednesday 8 September 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The street light outside number 11 is very bright. It shines into the rooms of the houses opposite and neighbouring houses and disrupts sleep. The house at number 2 also has a similar issue with the street light outside their house. The street lights appear to be non directional (particularly affecting the houses opposite) and are therefore exacerbating light pollution. Please could these be fixed? Thank you.

As a more general comment - dimmer street lighting saves on energy and is better for insects and wildlife.
