Pavement disappearing due to building work. Pavement blocked with builders materials

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:06, Fri 10 September 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Building work has been going on at the rear of 154-156 Muller Road for a couple of weeks. The pavement is now fenced off by the builders causing pedestrians to use the road. The pavement itself is gradually disappearing as the builders seem to be extending the house on to the pavement. Materials and plant machinery left on the pavement overnight make it very difficult, even for an able-bodied person.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

Posted by Bristol City Council at 16:06, Fri 10 September 2021

  • Photos taken at 18:00pm on Friday 10/09. This pavement will no doubt be COMPLETELY blocked until at least Monday morning. Infirm, blind and visually impaired are totally blocked from using this pavement and have been for a couple of weeks. I ask that you take urgent action as the builder is being totally irresponsible.
