Drain is blocked

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 09:32, Monday 27 September 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The drain is blocked and looking the history this is an ongoing problem which has not been permanently resolved. Could this be investigated as a matter of urgency. Pedestrians are having to climb over walls to avoid the water, cyclists who are having to go through standing water which can present a health hazard and it is unpleasant being soaked before getting to work. This is a major passing point for cyclists and pedestrians who are avoiding busy roads.

  • This is really unacceptable. Could you please do something about the flooding coming through the park to blackberry hill. The leaves block the drain and make it impassable. I have had to turn back and add miles to my journey by bike. It is so horrible to get soaked in dirty water. Please help
