Hazardous mutiple potholes in pavement outside 24 Henleaze Park Drive
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 10:13, Tue 28 September 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3029287.
The hazardous potholes were here since before we moved into the property in 2015. As we had our driveway done in 2016, we asked our builder to retarmac this part of the pavement but Bristol City Council didn't allow to retarmac it as 'it would not match pavement surface (in equally poor condition) of 26 Henleaze Park Drive'. This now was identified as a hazard following an accident (a woman tripping and getting multiple injuries to her skull, elbow etc.). I would appreciate this pavement is resurfaced asap. On request we are happy to provide image and video of the accident which the victim gave her permission to share with Bristol City Council. The victim is consulting her lawyer.

The uneven surface and potholes are actually present on all driveways on our street and are hazards to pedestrians and children walking or running to school. I believe it is very lucky that nobody killed themselves yet while tripping on one of the potholes on Henleaze Park Drive. I can see that some work started happening at the one side of our street and I hope this will carry on on every driveway except the ones with tarmac (as these are the only non-hazardous driveways)
