Damage next to drain on public footpath

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 18:31, Wed 29 September 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

My mother was walking to the bus stop on Lewins mead on Monday 20th September at 3.30pm. Her walking aid she was pushing fell into this damaged area (see photos) causing her to fall over the top of it and badly injure her face and body. A witness to this called her an ambulance and then a good Samaritan took her to the BRI where her injuries were assessed and triaged. She also had to go to her doctor the next day for further treatment and dressings. She would not of sustained this injury had this damage to the footpath not have been there. I have more information if you require it .
