Former location of illuminated bollard causing punctures

Reported via desktop in the Iluminated Bollard category anonymously at 00:07, Tuesday 5 October 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

A bollard at this location was destroyed within the past month or two. Since then, at night, cars driving towards the Stokes Croft area hit the concrete where this bollard was.

I reported this to the police as I could hear repeated punctures from my flat. A wheelie bin was placed on the crossing temporarily, then it went away and the punctures continued. A road sign was placed there, then this disappeared. A traffic cone was placed, but this also disappeared.

Each time there is no longer anything signalling to drivers of the concrete structure in the centre of the road, cars are receiving punctures. Just tonight, in heavy rain and dangerous conditions, I have heard around 5-6 vehicles pass and hit the structure, causing a loud puncture sound, and I can then see the vehicle pulling up further up the road (it's just happened again as I am writing this!). In total, I must have heard 30-50 cars destroy their tyres on this unmarked structure so far.
