This light does not work

Reported via mobile in the Street Light category anonymously at 01:06, Sat 9 October 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The light is not on. See attached screen from cctv. This is very worrying as we live next door to drug dealers who have frequent visitors throughout the night. It’s too dark outside without this street light and our safety is further compromised down a dead end lane

  • Please fix this light as a matter of urgency. I am a 75 year old woman and do not like walking down the lane after dark without this lighting

  • It’s been over two months and this street light is still an issue. It comes on and off intermittently. It’s appalling this hasn’t been investigated as there is clearly a fault. It feels incredibly unsafe and I personally feel vulnerable as we have suspected drug dealing in and around the road.

  • I’m absolutely appalled by the lack of action on this issue. It was first reported back in early October and then again in December as a follow up. No one has been out to check on the fault with this street light in almost 4 months. We know this because we have a cctv camera. The residents at the end of this lane feel very vulnerable. We’ve kept our Christmas lights up to provide light for the end of the lane but this is unacceptable. Another street light at the top had been reported on them lane was also coming on and off. This is as fixed within date
