Please Cut These Trees Back

Reported via Android in the Trees category anonymously at 08:19, Fri 15 October 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

These trees are far too overgrown. There are dead branches hanging down and they block the street lights, making the path unsafe at night. Most of the trees are taller than the houses - the roots must be interfering with foundations. They have already affected the path which is very uneven.

Updates

  • As per previous reports, these trees are far too tall, far too wide and far too close to the houses. The path is very wet and slippery due to all the fallen leaves and crab apples. The trees also seem to be pushing the metal fence over towards the house, further reducing the width of the path. Can't believe such a busy path is so utterly neglected. The area looks awful.

  • Update #3763 - be nice if someone would just visit the area and see the ridiculous size of these trees. The land belongs to the council so the council must maintain it???

  • Apparently the trees will be trimmed at some point AFTER two local councillors got involved and complained to the Council. I'll believe it when I see it. Fingers crossed
