Broken paving slab at side of road

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:43, Sun 17 October 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

A paving slab outside 179 Southmead Road has become cracked and broken from cars clipping it when they park. Needs fixing with a new slab. I’ve tried just putting it back but it keeps moving when cars touch it and could cause damage to someone’s car/tyres.

  • This has not been fixed and is getting worse. The paving slab next to it has broken now too. If you leave it too long, the whole row will break and need fixing/replacing! Please can someone come and fix this asap. I raised this nearly two months ago.

  • The above is now causing a major concern as my granddaughter tripped over the broken kerb stone and an elderly lady nearly had a fall. This has now become a health and safety issue and needs urgently sorting.
