Deterioration of road surface
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 09:54, Wednesday 20 October 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
The road surface along the stretch of Filton Avenue (between No.100 & Bristol Civic Sports Club) has been gradually deteriorating over time, and has now become extremely irregular. This is evident by the uneven nature and appearance of the road surface. This has been having an impact on nearby property, with experience of intense and severe vibrations to be felt throughout with passing Buses/HGVs. The uneven surface has now become severe, such that the levels of vibrations/rumbling are becoming unbearable and affecting sleep during the night, as it causes internal doors to rattle. There is concern that this issue could affect the structural integrity of properties in the vicinity, and therefore requires immediate attention for rectification.
A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.
