Flooding near White Tree roundabout
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 09:16, Wed 27 October 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3086663.
Every time we have any downpour of rain the kerbside on North View adjacent to Etloe Road and Westbury Park floods despite this having been reported multiple times. Last week when this happened the traffic approaching White Tree roundabout from North View was restricted to the offside lane because of the flood and the water is now reaching the boundary wall of the property at the end of Etloe road adjacent to the pedestrian area of Westbury Park. I have lived nearby for nearly 17 years and each time this happens it causes a larger area of flooding.

These drains are badly silted. It is also likely tree roots are a factor in blocking the drains. It is time BCC took decisive action and demonstrated that Yes, they are capable of managing the simple basics of the local environment, and undertake remedial engineering work as well as regular drainage clearance..
