Zone End Sign on pole on Wilson Street BS2/Lemon Lane junction

Reported via desktop in the Road Signage category anonymously at 11:19, Wednesday 27 October 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This sign has dropped down its pole and now hangs below head height over the pavement. I hit my head accidentally - bad headach and back of the neck strain. Lucky not to split my head open. Will visit the doctor if the headache persists. Meanwhile, it is a danger to all other pedestrians because you don't expect a metal sign to be hanging below head height. The van driver of BJ12 LWC witnessed the event and also claimed to be a victim of the signage himself - he hit his own head. This is the second time of hits to my head. Guess it has been like this for several weeks.
