Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Very deep pot hole located on junction between Elmgrove Road and Redland Road, unavoidable due to oncoming traffic. Damage sustained to tyre, wheel, suspension arm and steering rack. Due to the depth of the pothole my car had to be lifted out by passers by.

  • Very large and deep pothole with sheer edges. Inconspicuous due to quantity of fallen leaves but unavoidable due to parked vehicles across the road in junction with oncoming traffic. Sheer edge caused cut to near-side front tyre which deflated almost instantly.

  • I drove into the pothole this morning and I will need to get it to the garage to assess damage to suspension. I put a traffic cone into it to warn motorists, cyclists and e-scooter riders. It's very deep and it was not visible (covered by falling tree leaves)
