Missing road markings

Reported via desktop in the Road Signage category anonymously at 15:12, Thu 11 November 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The cycle lane markings have completely worn away (due to motorists in the cycle lane). There is now no safe space for cyclists on the the approach to the junctions of the A38 and Wessex Avenue and the A38 and Dorian Road. Both cycle lanes usually have cars in them. This has been reported before and ignored before and has been getting worse for several years. This is a major safety issue for cyclists so I would be grateful if it can be looked at rather than being declared not urgent and closed again.

  • At this junction because of worn away road markings, motor vehicles line up side by side as two lane's and over in worn cycle lane. When it is one motor vehicle lane and one cycle lane and the wessex ave right lane is a peel of lane after lights but they are using before lights as wessex ave lane aswell. Even buses use it as two lane's But try and get this through to the council it's hard work. Reported this issue with photo's over a year back but they close this issue and do nothing .
