Urgent - Drain cover in road damaged and could lead to an accident
Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category by Martin Turner at 17:56, Mon 15 November 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
A year ago the drain cover in the road was replaced as it had become potentially dangerous and also noisy when a vehicle passed over it. Buses/lorries pass over it so you can imagine these vehicles could lead to more serious damage and potential accident if not addressed. As such it was replaced. The issue has returned. All day and all night, a loud "thud thud" every time a vehicle drives over the top which is frequent given a busy main road.
Circular drain is on left hand side in road (heading towards Fishponds High Road). Outside property 112 Staple Hill Road.
A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.
