Grill not draining

Reported via iOS in the Flooding category anonymously at 08:37, Sun 28 November 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The drain - Spire side of road - does not empty water from the gutter when it rains heavily, resulting in pooling (small flooding). Traffic passing will splash water onto pavement, drenching any pedestrians.

This situation has been like this for years. Unfortunately the work to rebuild the wall above the Spire’s quarry did not include fixing this.

  • 7th April 2022 It's been raining and as can be seem from these photos the gutter still isn't draining. It may not yet be six months since I reported this here but this problem has been present for years. My father used to moan about it and he's been dead for four years.
