Streetlight outside 23/25 Shadwell Rd not working

Reported via desktop in the Street Light category anonymously at 21:50, Mon 29 November 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Streetlight outside 23/25 Shadwell Rd not working - initially flickering and dim for several days but now not lit. It is already a dark section of the street, even when lit, but it is now pitch black as the street lights at the top and bottom of the street do not extend to the mid section of the Shadwell Road.

  • The light has come back on but is very dim and orange and, as you can see from the photo, not actually casting any light onto the street.

  • Come home from work to find that the door to the lamppost has come off and is propped up next to it. Called the phone number to report this as per the instructions on your website because presumably it is a safety issue. I was on hold for over 30 minutes despite being told I was first in the queue from the outset.
